At ANS Virginia Tech, our mission is to show another side of nuclear power. While nuclear energy is frequently misunderstood, through the creation of education videos and infographics, we hope to educate the public on the strides we have taken towards making nuclear power a cleaner, safer, and more efficient source of energy. As an organization at Virginia Tech, we meet once a week to discuss not only nuclear engineering, but also to meet fellow like-minded individuals and create new connections and friendships.
